So I have seen these ‘A-Z of’ posts floating around and thought it was a super fun way to share a few beauty favourites. It took me a while but I managed to get something for every letter; a few may be a little ..ahem.. creative but I think they still count. I hope you enjoy this post, let me know if you have a go at writing your A-Z favourites too.
A – Angel Veil Primer
This is a fairly recent purchase, but I have used this everyday since I bought it! It feels very similar to the Hourglass Mineral Veil primer, but it is a fraction of the price.
I have been using Bioderma micellar water for a few years now and definitely notice that my skin looks a lot better when I am using is as opposed to my other makeup removers. I love the fact that they finally sell it at Boots now as it makes it a lot easier to buy.
The Clarisonic is something that I had always wanted to try but was always a little put off by the price. I was lucky to receive one for Christmas this year and am now kicking myself that I hadn’t invested in one sooner.
D- Double Serum
I have been using this for a few months now and I love it. I may only be 23 but I am starting to notice fine lines creeping onto my face, which I am definitely not a fan of. Thanks to Clarins Double Serum my skin is back to looking a lot smoother now.
E – Eight Hour Cream
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream is literally a dream. It is amazing for moisturising any dry areas on both face and body.
This one is a little bit different. If you’ve ever wanted to buy a foundation online but have no idea where to start with colour matching then this website will be your best friend. You input your current foundations and shades and it will produce a list of all your recommended shades in a range of different brands.
G- Gimme Brow
If you want a fuller, yet still natural looking brow then Gimme Brow is for you. The gel coats and colours the hairs while the small fibres in the product stick to the hairs and help the brows to look fuller. I use this nearly everyday, alone for a more natural look or together with a brow pencil or gel for a bit more definition.
Hoola is the UKs No.1 selling bronzer and I am really not surprised. It is a gorgeous matte, non-orange shade that works beautifully on all skin tones.
I- Indeed Labs Hydraluron
A must have product for everyone. See my Hydraluron post for a full review!
J- Jaclyn Hill x Becca Champagne Pop
There was a massive hype around this when it was realised and I totally understand why, if you are into a blinding highlight then you will love this. I was worried that it would be too dark for my fair skin but it is perfect.
K – Kabrow
Kabrow is my all time favourite brow product, it is a cream gel product that can create the perfect Instagram brow or can be used lightly for a super soft look. It is similar to the ABH Dipbrow, but I much prefer it as I find the Dipbrow too intense. The consistency of Kabrow is a lot drier which in my opinion makes it a lot easier to use and build up without it looking OTT.
L – Lilash
Without a doubt this is my No.1 product of 2016. I don’t want to give too much away as I will be doing a full review soon.
M – Modern Renaissance
Anastasia Beverly Hills have been killing it with their product releases recently. The Modern Renaissance palette has the best formulation and colour selection of any palette I have tried.
N – Nars Sheer Glow
Nars Sheer Glow is an extremely popular foundation in the blogging world, I love to mix this in with Double Wear when I need staying power and a little radiance.
O – Origins Facemasks
I have been using Origins facemasks for a few years now and they are great. My favourites are the Drink Up over night mask and the Clear Improvements charcoal mask.
P – Pixi Glow Tonic
Glow Tonic is another blogger cult favourite. If you are looking to improve your skins radiance and texture this gentle exfoliating toner is a great product.
Q – Quickliner
Q may have been a tricky letter, but Clinique Quickliners are super easy to use to create a perfect smokey eye. I have mine in the shade Black Honey which unfortunately I don’t think they make any more, although I have my eye on True Khaki and Grape as my next shades to try.
R – Real Techniques
I love Real Techniques for face brushes, they are good quality, reasonably priced and you can buy them on the high street. I don’t use that many of their eye brushes though, I prefer Morphe for eyes.
S – Setting Spray
Everyone needs a good setting spray, I love the Urban Decay All Nighter and the NYX Dewy Setting Spray. I’m dying to try the Gerard Cosmetics Slay all day ones as they have such good reviews and love all the different scents they come in.
T – Tangle Teezer
I have the knottiest hair imaginable, so owning three Tangle Teezers is a must for me.
U – Urban Decay Naked Skin Concealer
This concealer is amazing. It has a great coverage and isn’t at all drying around the eyes. It is also one of the palest concealers I’ve found!
W – Well Dressed
Mac Well Dressed was one of my first mac purchases and I still love it to this day. It is a light, blue toned, pretty pink that is perfect for paler skins.
X – (e)Xtreme Dimension Eyeshadow
Mac Extreme Dimension Eyeshadows are described as ‘a hybrid shadow that’s smooth like a cream, blendable like a liquid and finishes like a powder’. I have two shades, Ready to Party and Havana. They are super soft powders that create an almost wet like sheen on the eyelids. Mac have also recently released a range of Extra Dimension highlighters, which look beautiful.
Y – YSL Touche Eclat Foundation
One of my all time favourites, YSL Touche Eclat foundation provides the perfect mixture of radiance and full coverage.
Z- (hydra) Zen
Lancome Hydra Zen is a lovely calming day moisturiser for normal/ combination and sensitive skin. It feels lightweight on the skin and its great for soothing skin that may have become irritated by patches of dryness or breakouts.
Wow this turned into quite a lengthy post, I hope you enjoyed these 26 favourites of mine!
